G R E E N   C L U B /  EARTH WEEK!
For Earth Week, Green Club is putting on fun activities each day. Tickets will be given out to students who participate and the MSIP class with the most tickets gets a free pizza lunch. Today, we ask teachers to turn off lights in classes with windows and use natural lighting. Tomorrow is “wear green or blue day”, along with a Bake Sale periods 3, 4 & 5. Thursday we will give out tickets to students who have 100% reusable lunches. And Friday, we ask students in their MSIP class, to count how many actual recyclables are in the recycling bin and one ticket will be rewarded to that class per item. Happy Earth Week everyone!

Girls Soccer practice today after school.

Badminton- Congratulations to Jason Chou for his 2nd place in Zone and moving on to SOSSA at the end of the month! A reminder that there is badminton practice tomorrow after school. All of the club and team members are encouraged to come and play.

All boys interested in being a part of the Boys Slo-Pitch team are invited to a practice tomorrow after school. Please meet in the gym with your baseball glove.

Boys Soccer - Practice is after school outside on Thursday. If you are not going to be there you need to let Mr. Williamson know about it. Boys soccer after school Thursday.

G U I D A N C E
Grads!  This is a reminder that the Laura Secord Awards are now open for application.  Check the Guidance website for criteria.  Please make sure your Student Profile is completed and submitted as well.

ALL Grade 11 students are reminded to complete their Individual Pathway Plan no later than April 30.  Use your MSIP time wisely! 

The Rankin Run is fast approaching!  Secord needs your help!  Volunteer to help with the Rankin Run this year!  Many different ways to help!  Sign up in Guidance.

There will be no Art Club tonight due to the staff meeting. Mrs. Wilcox would like you all to go home and work on your sticker designs or digital art for the year end show. Both those challenges must be submitted by April 30th!

Graduating Artists -If you are a graduating Artists and would like your work considered for DSBN's grad show, you will need to drop off your work to Mrs. Wilcox by April 30th, complete with label information. In the past Secord artists have won multiple awards and prizes, lets keep that tradition alive and celebrate the arts at Secord.
